Welcome to my website. I am Alasdair Murray, the Liberal Democrat candidate for the new Westminster constituency of Bournemouth West, Alderney and Branksome East.
Having grown up nearby and with family long established in the area, I am very aware of what a fantastic place it is to live.
As I have travelled around the constituency over recent months you have told me about the ways we can make Bournemouth and Poole an even better place to be. You are concerned about poor quality development placing pressure on our green spaces, the need for better services for our older population and about crime and anti-social behaviour, which are harming the quality of life in some parts of our area.
We have an opportunity to make a fresh start. The Labour government’s boom is now long bust, while for far too long the Conservatives have been able to take the local area for granted.
Bournemouth West, Alderney and Branksome East deserve a change - an MP who is focused on the local community and can act as your voice in Parliament.
